Vietnam Anti-Corruption Initiative (VACI) Programme 2013 makes its debut

(VOVworld)-Vietnam will enhance the efficiency of policy and law enforcement in its ongoing effort to combat corruption. Deputy Chief Government Inspector Tran Duc Luong showed the government’s resolve at the launch of the Vietnam Anti-Corruption Initiative Programme 2013 in Hanoi on Thursday.

VACI has been launched by the Government Inspectorate, the World Bank and other co-sponsors. Deputy Chief Government Inspector Tran Duc Luong: “The initiative aims at minimizing corruption, strengthening transparency and integrity, and bringing a better living environment. We are looking for initiatives in the fight against corruption, especially at the grassroots level, and duplicate them in the community. It helps raise public awareness of anti-corruption policies and social responsibility in tackling corruption.”
