Minh said: "After nearly 30 years of the renewal process, Vietnam has made significant achievements in its social and economic development. The UNDP Human Rights Report 2013 placed Vietnam in the group of 40 countries of highest gains in the human rights index."

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh said the determination of economic reform and proactive international integration would motivate Vietnam to develop rapidly and sustainably.

Themed “Economic reforms: Challenges for inclusive growth”, the conference includes 3 major sessions themed “Economic reform: challenges for inclusive growth”, “Economic Reforms for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth”, and “Exploiting the potentials of international integration for inclusive and sustainable growth”.
