(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Fatherland Front held a ceremony in Hanoi on Sunday to mark its 85th anniversary and launch an emulation movement to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas.
In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh said: “The government supports the emulation movement, which will help improve the people’s material and spiritual life. We believe that the Vietnam Fatherland Front will continue to enhance its role in strengthening social supervision and criticism, consolidating national unity, and building a socialist state governed by law of the people, by the people, and for the people.”
