Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia strengthen scientific, technological cooperation
(VOVworld) – The first annual seminar on the role of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia in the greater Mekong sub-region cooperation opened on Monday in Da Nang city. The seminar is part of a memorandum of understanding between the three countries’ Institutes of Social Science. Reports focused on cooperation in economics, culture, education, science and technology, and green growth in the greater Mekong sub-region. Nguyen Quang Thuan, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Institute of Social Science, said: “Scientists from the three countries discussed cooperation in the region, development triangle, the role of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia in scientific research. Participants also clarified development cooperation issues and prospects in the tripartite scientific cooperation.”
