(VOVworld) Celebrations of the 82nd founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3rd) are underway across the nation. Nghe An provincial leaders on Thursday paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien historical relic site to express gratitude for the late president’s great contributions to Vietnam and to report on Nghe An province’s socio-economic achievements. On this occasion, representatives from localities and agencies have visited President Ho’s home village in Kim Lien commune in Nam Dan district. Meanwhile, in Hanoi, there’s an exchange program called “Believe in the party forever”.

In another development, the Party’s Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education has introduced a program to mark the 82nd anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Accordingly, Party and State leaders will lay wreathes at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Monument of Martyrs and visit the families of those who rendered great services to the nation. Seminars on the Party’s tradition and development will also be held. These activities aim to highlight the important role that the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Marxism Leninism and Ho Chi Minh’s thought have played in the nation’s past struggles for liberation, the renewal process, and construction and defense at present.
