Over the past years, the four media agencies have served as a bridge and a forum for teachers, educational administrators, students, experts, scientists, and all people to voice their opinions, and contributed to creating social consensus and trust in education.

Attending the meeting, the teachers, who come from difficult localities across the country, promised to wholeheartedly work for their beloved students.

Teacher Dang Thi Nu of Sung Trai Boarding Middle School for Ethnic Minorities in Dong Van district, Ha Giang province, said: “The teachers’ mandate is to teach, transfer knowledge, and train students' personalities. It is a difficult but very rewarding job. I will continuously strive to achieve higher results, complete all assigned tasks, and dedicate to the teaching job. I wish to contribute more to the education sector and local socio-economic development.”

Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son said: “The education sector needs support of the media agencies to communicate more about the positive features of schools and educational innovation. We are very grateful to the journalists for covering educational topics that reflect the true images of the education sector.”

Also on Friday, the Vietnam Youth Federation in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training, the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs, and Thien Long Group organized the program to honor 58 outstanding teachers who are working in difficult communes across the country.
