(VOVworld) – The 2016 Youth Month was launched in Vinh Phuc province on Saturday. 3,000 youth union members and young people attended the launch.
The month will focus on jobs, green environment, social welfare, and the anniversary of the youth union. Truong Thi Mai, head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission, called on the youth union to help implement the resolution of the 12th National Party Congress with specific youth movements: “Youth organizations and associations should be given favorable conditions to implement Youth Month and their activities. I hope that youth movements this year will have positive results.”
After the launch 1,000 youth union members joined a voluntary blood donation drive and young doctors provided free medical check-ups and medicines to 300 workers in industrial parks in Vinh Phuc.
