Over the past 65 years, the General Staff of the Vietnamese Navy has always been proactive and creative, overcoming all difficulties and challenges, successfully completing its functions and tasks, which have contributed to a successful completion of the army’s political tasks over the past time.
Rear Admiral Pham Manh Hung, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Navy, said: “Generations of officers and soldiers of the General Staff of the Navy vow to continue the path of their predecessors, promote the tradition of the people’s armed forces, build a strong General Staff of the Vietnamese Navy, and successfully complete assigned tasks. This will contribute to building a revolutionary, regular, elite and modern army which is the core force in the cause of safeguarding the sovereignty of the sea, islands, and continental shelf of the Fatherland.”
