(VOVWORLD) - On Monday, the Kien Giang provincial People’s Committee held the Nghinh Ong Festival 2023 with activities connecting with businesses in other and cities, to promote the province’s sea and island tourism.

The festival featured a ceremony to worship Genies, pray for peace, and pay gratitude towards Nam Hai (a whale god), alongside cultural, sport, and art activities.
There were also booths introducing and promoting local tourism and products.
