To date, nearly 1,400km have been completed and put into operation. The Prime Minister requested localities to prioritize the arrangement of medium-term public investment plans for 2026-2030 and other legal capital sources to invest in and upgrade sections, in order to complete the entire coastal road from Quang Ninh to An Giang before 2030. 

Ministries and sectors were urged to promptly remove difficulties and obstacle,  allocate capital for sections that have not been prepared for investment, and support localities to speed up investment preparation for ODA projects scheduled to be implemented in from 2026 to 2030.
