Speaking at the university’s 30th anniversary (January 27, 1995 – January 27, 2025) on Sunday, Prime Minister Chinh urged the university to strive to be among the top 100 universities in Asia by 2030.
He emphasized the need to adopt a digital governance model, ensure university autonomy, leverage the strengths of its multidisciplinary and multi-field system, and evolve into a leading education, science, and technology ecosystem in Vietnam.

The Prime Minister also stressed the importance of developing a strong team of scientists and advancing training and research in semiconductor technology, biotechnology, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence.
