8-year search for fallen soldiers' remains pays off

[VOVWORLD] - On January 31, 1968, Vietnamese people and soldiers undertook a historic Spring General Offensive and Uprising, widely known as the Tet Offensive. Many laid down their lives during the battle. Now, soldiers and officers from the Ho Chi Minh City High Command are working day and night searching for the remains of these heroes to return them to their loved ones.

Search for fallen soldiers begins at HCM city’s Le Thi Rieng park

[VOVWORLD] - A large-scale operation began on Monday at Le Thi Rieng Park in Ho Chi Minh City to search for, recover, and identify the remains of soldiers believed to have been buried there after the 1968 Tet Offensive.
