The Cube Café – Board Game Center

(VOVWORLD) - Dating back thousands of years, board games have been played in numerous countries. Rolling some dice and moving playing pieces not only brings tons of fun but also fosters life skills for players. Located on Trấn Vũ Street, ‘The Cube Café’ is one of the first board-game café shops in Hanoi. It has become a popular spot for young competitive crews to get their game on by accessing a library of more than 300 games, while enjoying good food and beverages.

Dance your fingers with Macramé knots

(VOVWORLD) - Recently in Hanoi, young people are creating more and more DIY workshops so that people can come to learn some new skills and experience a creative environment. One of those workshops is “Dance your fingers with Macrame”, which was held monthly to introduce handmade enthusiasts to the art of tying knots in making decorative items. With patience and a little practice, participants can create a beautiful work on their own that they can wear, display or even sell to make a little extra cash.

But people still reserve a special place in their hearts for one of the earliest forms of advertising: the distinctive call of the street vendor. Though street calling is less common now than it used to be, you can still hear it from time to time on the streets of Hanoi.
