(VOVWORLD) - After three months, the “Green Hanoi" environmental project, which started with only three members conducting weekly clean-up drives in Hanoi’s severely polluted rivers, has attracted over 200 volunteers. The project’s founder, 28-year-old Nguyen Tien Huy, whose idea was initially criticized as a “drop in the ocean,” has persevered through difficult times and ridicule, and continues to wade into stinky rivers with his volunteers to pick up trash, an activity that shook many spectators to their core.

Opened to all undergraduate students at universities, academies and training institutions in Vietnam, this contest which was held from May to September aimed to promote mediation as an alternative for resolving commercial disputes. The final round was held on September 30 at Hanoi Law University.

Using a smartphone, every day the 27-year-old tour guide conducts virtual tours of Sapa. Huong's wish is give everyone an entertaining look at her hometown.
