The festival’s opening ceremony highlighted the unique culinary and cultural values of ancient Thang Long and modern-day Hanoi. Featuring a captivating blend of elaborate art performances, 3D mapping technology demonstrations, and contemporary shadow dance, the ceremony provided a visually stunning experience for the audience and told the story of Hanoi’s culinary heritage.

Throughout the festival, visitors will enjoy exquisite tourism gift products, tour promotions, gift vouchers, and special offers from the city’s travel businesses. There will also be demonstrations and promotions of craft village products linked with tourism, a miniature landscape cluster called "Hanoi Love", and a bamboo miniature landscape cluster called "Hanoi Gift."

There will be lively drum, music, and dance performances and traditional costume displays. Visitors will also be treated to performances of Muong ethnic gongs, along with street circus acts, hip-hop, and flashmob performances.

This year's festival highlights the development of culinary tourism—a growing trend worldwide—allowing visitors to not only savor food and drinks but also to experience the cultural identity and community life of Hanoi.

Through these gifts, the festival honors the capital’s culinary excellence,  introduces Vietnamese-branded tourism gift products, fosters the development of the gift-making industry, strengthens cultural and tourism connections, and preserves and promotes the unique values of cultural heritage and traditional crafts in association with tourism development.

As an annual tourism event, the festival plays a key role in promoting Hanoi as a "Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive" tourist destination.
