These people will receive at least two COVID-19 test on the first and 14th day of the quarantine period.

Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap provincial People’s Committee Doan Tan Buu said the province has proposed home quarantine for F1 cases promising to enforce disease prevention regulations and tighten management.

'We need to be very cautious in implementing home quarantine. We need to ensure safety, prevent transmission, rally public support, and tighten management of these cases. If successful, we will expand home quarantine. We ask people in lockdown areas not to go out if not necessary. We’ll provide them with essential goods.' says Buu.

Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Truong Son has agreed to Dong Thap’s home quarantine proposal and asked the province to enforce all necessary conditions, and learn from the experience of other localities.
