New humanitarian campaign upholds legacy of “Millions of Kind Steps”
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Red Cross Society, in collaboration with its partners, is launching the campaign “Millions of Kind Steps – Continuing the Golden History” from this weekend until May next year, aiming to mobilize social resources for humanitarian initiatives nationwide. The new drive follows the success of the “Millions of Kind Steps” campaign held early this year.

The campaign will be launched at Hanoi University of Science and Technology on Saturday, marking the 78th anniversary of the Vietnam Red Cross Society and the country’s major anniversaries in 2025. The event also promotes the movement “Good People, Good Deeds – Joining Hands to Build a Compassionate Community.”
“The walking program was a very meaningful activity, helping us improve our health, raise funds to support and spread love to those in difficult circumstances.”
“I feel very excited and happy to participate in this meaningful program. Not only can we improve our health, but we also spread love and positive messages in the community.”
The program was a big success, drawing more than 95,000 participants, conquering a collective distance of nearly 2.5 million kilometers, and raising 550,000 USD - more than double the initial goals.
These efforts provided support to poor, disadvantaged groups in Thai Nguyen, Son La, and Dien Bien provinces.
Building on this momentum, the Organizing Committee hopes the “Millions of Kind Steps – Continuing the Golden History” campaign will garner wide participation from organizations and individuals across the country to help those in need.
