Recruitment demand grows in early 2024

(VOVWORLD) - Businesses in Hanoi will recruit more than 100,000 workers in the first quarter of this year, according to the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs. Industries with high demand for workers include trade, services, processing, manufacturing, IT, e-commerce, and construction.

Since the beginning of the year, the labor market in Hanoi has seen a greater demand for full-time and part-time workers.
The Hanoi Employment Service Center is looking for workers in trade, services, tourism, catering, accommodation, processing, manufacturing, information technology, e-commerce, construction, and finance.
Do Duc Tri, Deputy General Director of Nhan Kiet Manpower Supply Co., Ltd., said: "To meet growing demand in the domestic labor market, our company will recruit more than 2,000 workers for positions such as factory operators, customer care specialists, and drivers."
Vu Quang Thanh, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Employment Service Center of the municipal Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, said many businesses have registered to hire workers, reflecting a recovery of the labor market. At each recruiting session, 1,000-2,000 jobs are offered.
Mr. Thanh said: "This year, our center has coordinated with a number of schools to conduct recruitment activities for businesses that are hiring. We will continue to hold large-scale and small-segment recruiting sessions."
The demand for workers is forecast to increase 19-20% this year.
