Beautiful scenery at Ba Be Lake
(VOVworld) - Ba Be, a fresh water Lake in Bac Kan province, is nestled on a height of 150m above sea level. With its average depth of between 17 and 23m, Ba Be Lake contains about 90 million cubic liters of water. The lake which is dotted with islands and surrounded by tropical forests consists of 3 small lakes. It is never drained and the clean and pure water flows from 2 southern upper stream rivers. Ba Be Lake is the heart of the Ba Be National Park, 68km northeast of Bac Can Township and 250km north of Hanoi.
