Entirety of Son Tra district in Da Nang disinfected in COVID-19 fight

(VOVWORLD) - All of the roads in Son Tra district in the central city of Da Nang were thoroughly cleaned and sterilised with disinfectant chemical on August 3 in an effort to combat the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.
All disinfection activities are conducted by the Chemical Corps of the Ministry of Defence with the aim of curbing the spread of the COVID-19 within the locality.

Approximately 30 soldiers utilise eight vehicles in order to participate in the cleaning efforts.

At present a number of positive COVID-19 cases have been detected in Son Tra district, with plenty of local areas deciding to impose a range of lockdown measures.

Son Tra residents are at high risk of infection, especially in areas which have recently been accommodating tourists.
