(VOVWORLD) - Thousands of residents of Dong Da district in Hanoi were vaccinated against the COVID-19 pandemic at an inoculation site located in the capital’s first field hospital.

Hanoi’s first field hospital is situated in Trinh Hoai Duc gymnasium and is part of the plan devised by the authorities of Hanoi to cope with rising infection cases.
The site is transformed into an inoculation area on August 2.
Trinh Hoai Duc gymnasium is one of 10 inoculation sites set up around Dong Da district in early August.
Locals must complete health declarations and receive health check-ups before receiving an injection.
Each person must maintain a safe distance from others in order to prevent the potential spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Injection is carried out between August 2 and August 5.
Roughly 26,000 locals in Dong Da district will be vaccinated against COVID-19 during the four-day drive.
A healthcare worker instructs residents on how to monitor their health at home after being given the injection.
