The artisans were divided into two groups and paraded along the main streets of Pleiku city.

The resounding, melodious sounds of gongs and graceful xoang dance attracted thousands of people and tourists.

Bringing gongs from remote villages to the wider public is a way to preserve and promote the value of the gong cultural space, a UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

The festival creates a venue for cultural exchanges and helps strengthen solidarity, understanding, and mutual support among ethnic groups in the Central Highlands.
