(VOVWORLD) - The Wild Sunflower - Chu Dang Ya Volcano Week 2023 opened on Friday in Gia Lai province, featuring ethnic cultural activities, with a never-before-seen performance for tourists and locals called “Lively rhythm of pounding rice”

At the festival in Chu Pah district, tourists can join local artisans in brocade and papoose weaving, and participate in a variety of folk games. There is also an art exchanges program connecting music clubs and bands in Gia Lai and other provinces.

"I found local customs here fascinating. The flowers look gorgeous. I hope the event will continue to improve and attract more tourists from across the country," tourist Phan Thi Thu An said.
The Wild Sunflower - Chu Dang Ya Volcano Week 2023, organized as part of the Gia Lai Culture-Tourism Week 2023, will run Sunday.
