The ruling African National Congress (ANC) of South Africa on Saturday celebrated its 100th anniversary. Nearly 100 officials and heads of political parties attended the ceremony, which highlighted the ANC’s leadership in the fight against Apartheid.  South African President Zuma emphasized that nearly 30 years after Nelson Mandela led the uprising in opposition to apartheid, the ANC party still has the trust of the people.
