(VOVworld) - This year's Global Action Week on Education for All is entitled “the Right to Education up to 2030 – Vote for Education”.

The annual event aims to help everyone access education.

Addressing the launch ceremony in Hanoi on Thursday, deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Vinh Hien said: “education is a fundamental human right and a prerequisite for implementing other rights. We will do our best so that every individual in society can enjoy an educational system of high quality in a friendly and fair manner. To reach this goal, it requires tight inter-sectoral coordination, the involvement of families, community, and society. The Ministry of Education and Training would like to call on Party committees and government administrations at all levels, sectors, agencies, and organizations to join efforts to make the targets on education for all a success by 2030.”

To realize the national action plan by 2015, Vietnam has developed a nationwide network of educational facilities under which 99% of districts and suburban districts have fulfilled the universalization of primary education at the right age.
