22 outstanding works honored at Vietnam Art Photo Contest and Exhibition
(VOVWORLD) - 22 outstanding works received awards at a ceremony in Hanoi on Monday at the third Vietnam Art Photo Contest and Exhibition themed “Proud of a border strip”.

Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Communications and Education, said that after three times of organization, the contest has affirmed its identity, appeal, and prestige among people of all walks of life.
“This year's contest drew 14,000 entries from 2,000 photographers, twice as many as in 2022. The 22 best photos received awards and 128 photos were selected for the exhibition. The works depict the beauty and people of Vietnam and honor the forces that are protecting the national border and sovereignty day and night," Nghia said.
This year’s first prizes went to photographer Vu Minh Hien for a photo titled “The national flag flies on hill A1 in Dien Bien Phu” and to photographer Nguyen Khac Hao for a set of photos of Central Highlands coffee.
