(VOVworld)- Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday held a ceremony to mark the 50^th founding anniversary of the Liberation Radio Station, the predecessor of the HCM City’s Radio Station. In his address, Mr, Le Thanh Hai, Secretary of the City’s Party’s Committee stressed that HCM City’s Radio has become an important organ of the city’s Party committee, local authorities and people. Hai said the station has contributed greatly to the city’s construction and defense. He urged the station to continue improving its broadcasting quality. "HCM City’s Radio Station needs to further develop to deserve its fine tradition and people’s expectation. In the near future, the station needs to improve its professional quality, timely update news, serve the fight against negatives and encourage people’s patriotism".
