(VOVworld) – Thai Nguyen province commemorated the 50^th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s last visit to the province on Tuesday.

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Phach highlighted the period Ho Chi Minh worked and lived in Thai Nguyen during the resistance war against the French. The President visited Thai Nguyen for the 7^th and last time on January 1^st, 1964. Mr. Phach said: “We will work harder to overcome shortcomings to achieve the goal of becoming an industrial province before 2020. We are also determined to become a centrally-run province by that time.”
