(VOVWORLD) -The 10th International Yoga Day with the theme "Yoga - Empowering Women" was held on Sunday in Phan Thiet city by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province and the Consulate General of India.

This event is to strengthen cooperation and develop sustainable tourism based on cultural similarities between Vietnam and India.
More than 600 members of yoga clubs and groups in and outside the locality joined a yoga performance Sunday morning, which sent a message of encouraging people to adopt a positive and peaceful lifestyle by doing exercises for stress relief.
