6.5 million USD raised in HCM City to support COVID-19 fight
(VOVWORLD) - 7,000 collectives and individuals have donated more than 6.5 million USD to Ho Chi Minh City’s COVID-19 prevention and control fund, according to the city’s Vietnam Fatherland Front chapter on Monday.

Another million has been raised to support residents affected by drought and saltwater intrusion by a campaign launched in March.
HCM City has sent more than 300,000 USD to Soc Trang, Ca Mau, Kien Giang, Tra Vinh, Bac Lieu, Ben Tre, and Hau Giang province to assist drought and saltwater intrusion recovery.
