(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s diplomacy played an important role in the success of its liberation war and has contributed significantly to national development and promoting Vietnam’s image worldwide.

Vietnamese ambassador to France Duong Chi Dung made this remark yesterday at a ceremony to mark the 67^th anniversary of Vietnamese diplomacy which was jointly held by the Vietnamese embassy and the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to UNESCO. Dung said that as one of 90 Vietnamese diplomatic stations around the world, the embassy in France has made a steady effort to strengthen ties with France, one of its key partners. He added that close cooperation among cultural, trade, scientific, and press bodies, including VOV’s bureau in France, has made Vietnam-France relations flourish.
