9 Indian experts infected with COVID-19 quarantined upon entry to Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam on Wednesday evening reported 9 more people tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus, bringing the total number of COVID-19 patients to 1,122, said the Ministry of Health. 

The new patients are Indian experts, all male, aged 27-41, who have entered Vietnam and are being quarantined in Dong Thap province. 

On Wednesday, Vietnam declared 3 more patients cured. So, 1,029 of the total 1,122 patients have recovered from the disease. The number of deaths caused by COVID-19 has been 35.

The remaining patients are being treated at health care facilities with the majority being in stable health condition, of whom 26 have test results negative for COVID-19 from 1 to 3 times.
