9th day of London 2012 Olympics: China back on top

After 9 days of the London 2012 Olympics, the medal race between the US and China teams remains neck and neck. China on Sunday regained the lead by winning 5 gold medals in badminton, gymnastics, springboard diving, and weightlifting in which Zhou Lulu set a world record in the women’s 75kg class. China has won 30 gold medals, followed by the US with 28, and the UK with 16. Jamaica’s Usain Bolt electrified an international audience once again winning 100-meter gold with a time of 9.63 seconds, breaking his own Olympic record.
