(VOVworld) - A wide range of activities will be held to celebrate Hanoi’s the 61^st liberation anniversary on October 10. Art programs will be held on October 9 and 10 at the Ly Thai To flower garden and at My Dinh National Stadium.

The 2015 Hanoi Book Fair, themed “Book and Heritage” opened at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel on Tuesday and will run until next Monday. The fair has attracted 55 publishing houses from across the country, featuring 167 booths. During the week-long event, fair visitors will attend seminars, discussions, book and author introductions, music and calligraphy performances, and games for children. From October 8-10, the international Monsoon Music Festival 2015 will also take place at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi.

The 2015 Hanoi Traditional Craft Village Festival will take place from Thursday to Sunday at Quan Ngua Sports Palace, in Hanoi.

On Sunday, the final round of the 2015 Hanoimoi newspaper Run for Peace will take place around Hoan Kiem Lake.
