(VOVworld) – At least 10 people were killed and 23 wounded in a suicide bomb attack on a packed trolleybus in Russia’s Volgograd city on Monday.

The attack came a day after a suicide bombing at a train station in the city killed 17 people. According to Russia’s Itar-Tass news agency, the trolleybus exploded as it approached a market place, blowing off the roofs of its carriages. So far, investigators have presumed that the suicide bomber was killed in the explosion. Russia’s National Security Agency reported to President Vladimir Putin about the explosion, awaiting his direction.
