Arab and Muslim leaders demand immediate end to Gaza fighting

(VOVWORLD) - Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries called on Saturday for an immediate end to military operations in Gaza.

At the extraordinary joint Islamic-Arab summit in Riyadh Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prince Mohammed said, “We are facing a humanitarian catastrophe” while Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi said the killings and besiege in Gaza are unacceptable. 

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said military measures can not solve the conflict.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for an international peace conference to find a permanent solution to the conflict between Israel and Palestinians.
