Art program honors 8 female martyrs
(VOVWORLD) -The Voice of Vietnam Radio and the Quang Binh provincial People’s Committee jointly held a special art program to commemorate the 45th death anniversary of the 8 female martyrs in Bo Trach district Sunday night.
Present at the event were Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Voice of Vietnam Radio President Nguyen The Ky, and Secretary of Quang Binh Party Committee Hoang Dang Quang.
The program included a requiem, the repatriation of remains of fallen soldiers, and a performance. Le Quoc Truong, a brother of martyr Le Thi Huong, said: “In this sacred moment, I am very moved at the martyrs’ sacrifices for the fatherland. Through this program, authorities pay more attention to the lives of martyrs’ relatives. The fallen soldiers set a bright example for us to follow.”
