Individuals and organizations were also honored for their contributions to the fund. In this program. Ho Chi Minh City’s Fatherland Front donated 1.1 million USD to the fund. Rear-Admiral Dinh Gia That, the Navy’s political commissar, says: “Over the years, the Party, authorities, and people of Ho Chi Minh City have greatly supported both spiritually and materially soldiers and military staff in Truong Sa and the sacred continental shelf of the country. This helps change Truong Sa and the DK1 platform. More importantly, the support has been a great encouragement for the islanders.”
