(VOVworld) - The China-ASEAN International Touring Assembly Rally (CAITA) arrived at the finish line in Jakarta on Sunday after a 10,000km journey through nine countries in 20 days.

The rally consisted of 25 cars carrying 100 people from China and the 10 ASEAN countries. It is part of activities to celebrate 25 years of ASEAN-China dialogue relations.
At a ceremony to welcome CAITA to Jakarta, Deputy Secretary General of ASEAN, AKP Mochtan said the rally aims to promote people-to-people exchanges, and strengthen friendship of people in China and ASEAN countries. The Vietnamese rally team had five members, two of them are journalists.
At each stop, the rally staged a promotional event to encourage trade and tourism between ASEAN and China.
