(VOVworld) – One hundred students from Vietnam and other Asian countries are meeting at the 14th Asian Youth Forum which opened in Da Nang city on Wednesday to discuss their responsibilities to the community.

Themed “Developing leaders for the 21st century”, the forum strengthened relations among the youth in Asia and helped them set up plans to serve the community. Over the next four days, the youngsters will engage in group discussions in Hue and Da Nang city, focusing on social responsibilities, foreign languages, and art and culture exchanges. They will visit the imperial city of Hue and Thanh Hà pottery village in Hoi An ancient town.
The event was sponsored by the Department of Foreign Language Studies of the University of Da Nang and the Japanese organization Balsamo Outreach for Learning and Teaching (BOLT).
