(VOVworld) – Vietnam with a population of around 90 million and strong economic growth has appeared as one of appealing Asian markets. The Australian Financial Review, a leading daily newspaper of Australia, ran an article on Wednesday saying My Thuan bridge, a symbol of Vietnam-Australia friendship, is bringing opportunities to Australian enterprises. Jason Clout wrote in his story named “My Thuan – a bridge to opportunities” that Australia's reputation has soared thanks to its assistance in the construction of the My Thuan Bridge in southern Vietnam. The bridge project has helped Australian companies gain a foothold in Vietnam.

Head of the Global Trade at HSBC, Andrew Skinner, said Vietnam will surpass the growth rate of China’s trade with Australia in the next decade to reach around 8 percent by 2030.
