The fair, which will close on Monday evening at the Vietnam Exposition Center in Hanoi, spans 130,000 square meters with 3,000 booths of 2,500 domestic and international enterprises and organizations. It attracted 100,000 visitors per day, the highest attendance among domestic trade promotion events.
Nguyen Thi Dien, a visitor from Hai Phong city, said, “It’s fun. Our country is wonderful. I hope there will be more fairs like this so people can visit and witness our nation’s development.”
Trade and business activities brought in average revenue of 12,000 USD per booth over 10 days, and total direct sales approaching 38 million USD. Local product booths alone generated 1.9 million USD.
Ngo Quang Quyet, a representative of the Dak Lay Trade and Service Cooperative from Quang Ngai province, said that this is a great opportunity for businesses to promote and introduce their products to domestic and international consumers.
“It also offers a chance to collaborate with other enterprises. Over the past days, we have reached out to many partners to sign contracts for the distribution of medicinal herbs and agricultural products,” said Quyet.
