Le Hong Anh proposed closer links between the two legislative bodies through exchanges of senior officials, specialized units, and friendship parliamentarian groups to share experience in legislature and supervision.
Anh said: “We’re glad to see prospects for bilateral political cooperation. The first state visit to Vietnam by an Azerbaijani President in May was a historic milestone which motivated stronger ties. Both countries should focus their cooperation in trade and investment in addition to politics. Oil and gas will be prioritized and considered a long-term strategic relation.”
