(VOVworld)- Hanoi has hosted a workshop to review the piloted bailiff practice as required by the National Assembly resolution. Bailiff services aim to provide judicial aid, correspondence and judgment enforcement assistance to promote society participation in several judicial activities as part of the judicial reform strategy by 2020. Head of Bailiff Division in Binh Thanh district, Ho Chi Minh city, Le Manh Hung, said the service has been piloted in 13 cities and provinces:“Bailiff service has been a legal support channel for the public to protect citizens’ legitimate rights and interests while easing the burden of the judgment enforcement agencies and courts. It created more public trust in the legal system and the ongoing judicial reform.”
Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong said that more communications should be done to promote bailiffs and raise people awareness of the service.
