(VOVworld) – A car bomb blast killed at least 11 people this week in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.
The number of wounded was about 15. The explosion struck the popular Aroma café near the Somali parliament building in Mogadishu. Al-Shabab fighters, who are connected to Al-Qaeda, claimed responsibility for the bombing. The group had vowed revenge for the death of its leader, Ahmed Abdi Godane, who was killed in a US drone strike last month.
