Center for toxic chemicals and environmental treatment to be established
(VOVWORLD) - A ceremony to announce the Prime Minister’s decision on establishing the National Action Center for Toxic Chemicals and Environmental Treatment (NACCET) was held in Hanoi on Wednesday.

The center will deal with studying, experimenting, and treating toxins and hazardous substances. It will mobilize and receive sponsored instruments and technical logistics. Under the management of the High Command of Chemistry of the Ministry of National Defense, the center will tackle post-war consequences of chemical toxins to the environment and humans, handle pollution of toxic chemicals and hazardous substances, and address incidents of toxic chemicals and pollution nationwide. The center will also build and manage a database on such issues.
