Taiwanese companies invest mostly in processing and manufacturing in Vietnam

The Ministry of Planning and Investment’s Department of Foreign Investment reported that over the reviewed period Chinese Taipei has registered 39 new projects, bringing the total new investment capital and additional capital for current projects to 664 million USD. 99% of them are wholly Taiwanese-invested projects.
Taiwanese investors have become involved in processing, manufacturing, water supply, waste treatment, transportation, logistics, and other services. The projects are located in 17 provinces, mostly in Tien Giang and Ha Tinh provinces.
