(VOVworld) – A conference to implement the Party Politburo’s conclusion on personnel rotation in senior positions and management posts until 2020 was held today/ on Monday in Ho Chi Minh city.

To Huy Rua, Politburo member and Secretary of the Party Central Committee said that Party organizations of all levels have responded to the drive and made considerable progress, enhancing the quality of Party and State cadres during the industrialization and modernization process: "We are implementing an important political drive. We should make efforts to halt the diminishing standards in  politic ideology, morality and lifestyles of some Party members, especially the leaders to improve the management and leadership capability of the Party. We’re determined to apply the Party Congress’s Resolution 4 to improve the ability of leaders at all levels to meet the demands of industrialization and international integration. This is an urgent task, a big challenge and also an opportunity to make the Party more transparent and stronger, meeting the aspirations of the cadres, party members and people".

Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong said the conference discussed some of the Resolution 4 on Party building, with the main focus on personnel rotation: "Personnel planning is important, especially in leading and management posts and must be attached to political tasks and the Party’s guidelines. This will help to work out the best way to develop to some cadres in the future terms. This also means training and improving the abilities of cadres".
