(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment held a conference to study resolutions of the 11^th Party Central Committee in Hanoi on Friday.

The resolutions deal with reforms in land-related policies and laws and measures to cope with climate change and improve management of natural resources and environmental protection. Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Manh Hien said: “The conference aims to create consensus in implementing these resolutions. It is of paramount importance to finalize the legal system and consult the people’s committees in working out their own plans to implement the resolutions in conformity with local conditions.”

Participants said it is essential to improve the state management of land-related issues, boost administrative reform and diversify land services. They also agreed that restructuring growth models toward sustainable development and green growth is one way to effectively deal with climate change and protect the environment.
