Construction of world-class stadium commences in Hung Yen
(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Public Security on Sunday broke ground on the 60,000-seat PVF Stadium, designed to meet and exceed international standards for major sporting events such as the Asian Games, the Olympic Games, and the FIFA World Cup. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Party General Secretary To Lam.

Located within the PVF Youth Football Training Center in Hung Yen Province, the project is funded by the Ministry of Public Security and constructed by Vinhomes JSC, a subsidiary of Vingroup.
Covering more than 55,000 square meters, PVF Stadium is set to become a national and regional hub for sports, culture, and tourism.
A standout feature is its massive retractable dome roof, which can open or close within 12 to 20 minutes - a technology being applied in Vietnam for the first time.
The automated dome system is modeled after that of AT&T Stadium in the United States, currently the world’s largest stadium with a retractable roof.
